One package pre-cooked meatballs or about 20 small homemade meatballs;
10 oz. apricot preserves or jam
chili sauce to taste (found in asian foods section of your grocery store)
one half of a medium-sized onion
Instructions...
Fully cook meatballs according to favorite meatball recipe or instructions on bag of pre-made meatballs.
Sautee the onion in a large skillet in olive oil
when onions are soft, add the apricot preserves and stir them in with the onions slowly as they dissolve into a liquid form.
Add chili sauce slowly, tasting the sauce after each addition, making sure it suits your taste. The more you add, the spicier the sauce will be, so be careful not to add too much!
Add meatballs to the sauce.
Let simmer and stir periodically until served.
